Getting Ready for Print

Book 1 of my Extra Innings Trilogy (The Diamond Thieves) is being sent to the printer today. It will be available in hard back, soft cover and ebook. I am so excited as it’s been a long ten + year journey. The final edits were stressful only because you always feel like there’s something you’re missing and then you randomly stumble across a major error that creates more doubt as to whether or not the book is truly ready for print. But eventually you have to let go. This must be what a parent feels like sending their kid off to college. Still, I am so excited and I hope the world loves the first installment in the fictional story of identical teenage twin brothers Jimmy and Billy McGee.

Billy’s Virginity

After reading through a few of the middle chapters of Book 2: Race of the Gemini, it became apparent to me that Billy’s virginity makes more sense to not only the time period but the characters themselves to occur a year later at 17 versus 16 years old.

Book 2 (of 3) is Edited

My editor, Derek Mitchell, has completed his editing of Race of the Gemini (Book 2 of the Extra Innings trilogy). I am so excited for this book as it continues to dive into the lives of twins Jimmy and Billy McGee as the advance further through their teen years in Mississippi. I will take Derek’s notes and make the necessary revisions before submitting out to friends & family for reading. I am still on the search for a publisher. No luck so far but remaining very hopeful.

Chapter 9 Revisions

The beginning few pages of Chapter 9 have been rewritten (finally) to greatly embellish the kidnapping of the character “Slave”. The idea was to create more conflict between the boys versus the mob with a goal of holding the reader captive more. This should also help to further build the anticipated tension for the baseball game soon to come. Hope my readers enjoy the changes! I, myself, am very excited!
